# Finder actions for ActionClip

Use selected text with Finder directly from ActionClip.

> Official ActionClip integration. The actions below are independently selectable. Adding one does not add the others or create an Action Group.

## About Finder

Finder connects to ActionClip so you can send selected text without copying and pasting it manually.

## Available actions

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your Finder action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to Finder and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

The selected path must exist on this Mac.

## Privacy

ActionClip passes the selected text only to this Apple app on your Mac. The Apple app controls any later iCloud sync or network use.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
