# Mail actions for ActionClip

Use selected text with Mail directly from ActionClip.

> Official ActionClip integration. The actions below are independently selectable. Adding one does not add the others or create an Action Group.

## About Mail

Mail connects to ActionClip so you can send selected text without copying and pasting it manually.

## Available actions

| New Draft | Open an editable email draft containing selected text. |

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your Mail action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to Mail and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

An email account must be configured in Mail or the system email composer.

## Privacy

ActionClip passes the selected text only to this Apple app on your Mac. The Apple app controls any later iCloud sync or network use.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
