# BBEdit actions for ActionClip

Use selected text with BBEdit directly from ActionClip.

> Official ActionClip integration. The actions below are independently selectable. Adding one does not add the others or create an Action Group.

## About BBEdit

BBEdit connects to ActionClip so you can send selected text without copying and pasting it manually.

## Available actions

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your BBEdit action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to BBEdit and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

Install BBEdit and allow ActionClip to control it in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Automation.

## Privacy

Passes selected text locally to BBEdit only when you run this action. The destination app controls storage, processing, and any sync.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
