## How to search open DEVONthink databases for the selection with ActionClip

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose **DEVONthink — Search** from ActionClip.
3. The destination opens with your selection ready to use.

## Requirements

DEVONthink must be installed with an open database and its Lookup Service enabled.

## Privacy

ActionClip passes the selected text locally to DEVONthink through its macOS Service. DEVONthink controls any later sync.
