# Downie actions for ActionClip

Use selected text with Downie directly from ActionClip.

> Official ActionClip integration. The actions below are independently selectable. Adding one does not add the others or create an Action Group.

## About Downie

Downie connects to ActionClip so you can send selected text without copying and pasting it manually.

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your Downie action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to Downie and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

Install Downie 4 or its Setapp edition and open it once. Enable Online Actions in ActionClip. Downloads require a site supported by Downie; sign in inside Downie when required.

## Privacy

Passes only video links from the selected text to Downie. Downie contacts the video sites and controls downloads. ActionClip does not collect browser cookies, change your clipboard, or alter Downie's preferences.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
