# Fluent actions for ActionClip

Send selected text to Fluent and choose exactly what you want it to do.

## About Fluent

Fluent is a Mac writing assistant that keeps rewriting, translation, and other AI tools close to whatever you are working on.

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your Fluent action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to Fluent and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

Install Fluent 1.7.1 or later. The first time you use an action, macOS may ask for permission to let ActionClip work with Fluent.

## Privacy

Your selection is sent to Fluent only after you choose an action. Fluent then uses the local or cloud model selected in its own settings.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
