# Readwise actions for ActionClip

Use selected text with Readwise directly from ActionClip.

## About Readwise

Readwise connects to ActionClip so you can send selected text without copying and pasting it manually.

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your Readwise action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to Readwise and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

Enable Online Actions and save your Readwise access token in this action's settings.

## Privacy

Sends the selected URL directly to Readwise over HTTPS. The token stays in the macOS Keychain.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
