# RewriteBar actions for ActionClip

Send your selection to RewriteBar, then choose the writing change you want from its command menu.

## About RewriteBar

RewriteBar is a Mac writing assistant for quickly rewriting, correcting, and transforming text from a compact command menu.

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your RewriteBar action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to RewriteBar and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

Install RewriteBar before using this action. The action places the selected text on your clipboard so RewriteBar can read it.

## Privacy

ActionClip copies the selection to your Mac’s clipboard and opens RewriteBar. Whether it is processed locally or online depends on RewriteBar’s provider settings.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
