# Tembo actions for ActionClip

Start a Tembo search from any short phrase you select on your Mac.

> Official ActionClip integration. The actions below are independently selectable. Adding one does not add the others or create an Action Group.

## About Tembo

Tembo is a Mac search tool that helps you quickly find files and other indexed content.

## Available actions

## How to use

1. Select the text you want to use.
2. Choose your Tembo action from ActionClip.
3. ActionClip sends the selection to Tembo and opens the app for you.

## Requirements

Install Tembo 1, 2, or 3 and enable its Search Service. The selection must be one line and no longer than 300 characters.

## Privacy

ActionClip sends the search phrase directly to Tembo on your Mac. The selection does not leave your Mac through ActionClip.

Nothing is sent until the user clicks the action. ActionClip does not run this integration in the background.
