Requirements and privacy

  • Before you start: Safari Reading List must be available, and the selected text must contain an HTTP or HTTPS web address.
  • Your selected text: ActionClip sends only the first link it finds to Safari on your Mac. Safari and iCloud control any syncing that happens afterward.

Nothing is sent until you click the action. ActionClip never runs this integration quietly in the background.
