Meet the Action Marketplace
Add focused actions without waiting for an app update, connect more Mac apps and AI providers, and discover every action on the new web marketplace.
What's new
- Browse 82 official actions across text editing, Markdown, clipboard tools, developer utilities, productivity, web tools, and app integrations.
- Add only the actions you want. App integrations show their available sub-actions individually and never create a group automatically.
- Receive new and updated marketplace actions from ActionClip's versioned catalogue, with a bundled offline fallback when the service is unavailable.
- Use nine Fluent actions: Smart Panel, Translate, Magic Refine, Fix Grammar, Make Concise, Summarize, Paraphrase Text, Explain Like I'm 5, and Continue Writing.
- Connect Perplexity with your own API key and choose from supported Sonar models.
- Preview selected colors written as HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, HWB, OKLCH, CMYK, named colors, or a plain RGB tuple such as
(90, 127, 239). - Append selected text to the clipboard or swap selected text with the current clipboard contents.
- Download portable
.actionclipfiles from the web marketplace and open them directly in ActionClip.
Marketplace and integrations
- Added dedicated integrations for Fluent, Refine, RewriteBar, DEVONthink, UpNote, Tot, Tembo, Scrivener, and Safari Reading List.
- Added search, category filters, per-integration added counts, clearer Added states, and app icons throughout the marketplace.
- Added Fluent System Icons alongside the existing icon collection and applied them to marketplace actions.
- Published matching web and Markdown pages for actions so people and AI agents can understand requirements, behavior, outcomes, and privacy before installing.
Improvements and fixes
- Auto-suggested tools such as Color Preview no longer appear a second time in the regular Actions section.
- Fluent actions now pass the selected text through Fluent's documented Apple events instead of only opening an empty app window.
- Color Preview now recognizes labelled values and comma-separated RGB digits, and can show your preferred color format in the action chip.
- Marketplace action downloads now use ActionClip's document type and filename extension so macOS can route them to ActionClip.
- Refined marketplace labels, tooltips, badges, category colors, action icons, and Added-state alignment for a cleaner, more consistent interface.
