How it works
- Select the text you want to use.
- Choose your DEVONthink action from ActionClip.
- ActionClip sends the selection to DEVONthink and opens the app for you.

Before you add it
Requirements and privacy
- Before you start: Install DEVONthink and enable its Take Plain Note or Lookup macOS Service, depending on the action you want to use.
- Your selected text: ActionClip sends the selection directly to DEVONthink on your Mac. DEVONthink controls any syncing that happens afterward.
Nothing is sent until you click the action. ActionClip never runs this integration quietly in the background.
