Use Fluent — Translate

Follow these steps to translate the selected text using Fluent with ActionClip.

  1. Select the text you want to use.
  2. Choose Fluent — Translate from ActionClip.
  3. The destination opens with your selection ready to use.

Requirements and privacy

  • Before you start: Fluent 1.7.1 or later must be installed and the corresponding built-in Fluent action must be available. macOS may ask you to allow ActionClip to control Fluent.
  • Your selected text: ActionClip passes the selected text to Fluent on this Mac. Fluent then uses the local or cloud model configured in Fluent.
