What Leafy - Add to Anki does
Uses Leafy's local lookup URL with the anki operation. Preserves the selection without copying it or sending surrounding text or the source app name. Leafy controls lookup, saving, and any later processing. A successful handoff confirms delivery to the app, not completion of a lookup or card creation.

Workflow
Use Leafy - Add to Anki
Follow these steps to send selected vocabulary to Leafy for an Anki card with ActionClip.
- Select the text you want to use.
- Choose Leafy - Add to Anki from ActionClip.
- The destination opens with your selection ready to use.
Before you add it
Requirements and privacy
- Before you start: Install Leafy and open it once. Connect Anki in Leafy Settings > Anki. Leafy may queue cards until Anki opens.
- Your selected text: Passes selected text locally to Leafy only when you run this action. Leafy may send it to its AI provider depending on Leafy's settings; ActionClip does not call that provider.
