Overview
What Leafy - Translate does
Uses Leafy's local lookup URL with the translate operation. Preserves the selection without copying it or sending surrounding text or the source app name. Leafy controls lookup, saving, and any later processing. A successful handoff confirms delivery to the app, not completion of a lookup or card creation.

- Select the text you want to use.
- Choose Leafy - Translate from ActionClip.
- The destination opens with your selection ready to use.
Before you add it
Requirements and privacy
- Before you start: Install Leafy and open it once. Configure language and AI or offline preferences in Leafy.
- Your selected text: Passes selected text locally to Leafy only when you run this action. Leafy may send it to its AI provider depending on Leafy's settings; ActionClip does not call that provider.
