Use Scrivener — New Clipping
Follow these steps to create a new clipping in the open Scrivener project with ActionClip.
- Select the text you want to use.
- Choose Scrivener — New Clipping from ActionClip.
- The destination opens with your selection ready to use.

Requirements and privacy
- Before you start: Scrivener 2 or 3 must be installed, a project must be open, and its Make New Clipping Service must be enabled.
- Your selected text: ActionClip passes the selected text locally to Scrivener through its macOS Service. Scrivener controls any later sync.
