Overview
What SideNotes - Add to Note does
Appends the selection after the current note's existing text, separated by a blank line. Requires a running SideNotes app and a selected note; never creates a fallback note.

Use SideNotes - Add to Note
Follow these steps to append selected text to the current SideNotes note with ActionClip.
- Select the text you want to use.
- Choose SideNotes - Add to Note from ActionClip.
- The destination opens with your selection ready to use.
Before you add it
Requirements and privacy
- Before you start: Install and open SideNotes, select a note, and allow ActionClip to control SideNotes when macOS asks.
- Your selected text: Passes selected text locally to SideNotes only when you run the action. Does not change your clipboard. SideNotes controls note storage and any sync.
