What Sequence Paste does
Start Sequence Paste, then copy text with ⌘C. Each copy adds a card. Press ⌘V in the destination to paste the next item.
Drag a pending card by its handle to reorder it. Right-click a card to skip, remove, move, or paste it again. Start again replays the sequence.
The popup grows with the list up to 60% of the usable screen height. You can also drag, resize, or expand it.
How to use it
- Choose Sequence Paste from the widget or your action list. A selection can become the first item.
- Copy each piece of text with ⌘C.
- Place the insertion point in the destination app and press ⌘V for each next item.
Example
First paragraph Second paragraph Third paragraph
⌘V → First paragraph ⌘V → Second paragraph ⌘V → Third paragraph

When ActionClip suggests it
Available when enabled. Reopening a sequence resumes it without duplicating the original selection.
Enabled actions remain available in your Actions list even when Smart Suggestions do not promote them for the current selection.
Requirements and privacy
- Requires ActionClip 2.3.1 or later.
- Sequences contain text and stay in memory for the current app session; they are not a saved clipboard history.
- Closing the popup stops collection and sequence handling until you reopen it. Secure fields and paused apps remain excluded.
- A sequence supports up to 200 items, with text-size limits. Images, files, and bulk spreadsheet pasting are not supported.
