When ActionClip suggests it
Word Count is a dedicated Auto Suggestions item. Enable it when you want selection counts visible; it is not promoted by a content detector.
Enabled actions remain available in your Actions list even when Smart Suggestions do not promote them for the current selection.
Requirements and privacy
- Works locally and does not require Online Actions.
- Counts are calculated on your Mac.
- Very large selections may skip some expensive text analysis for performance.
